The Cape Winelands are world-renowned, both for the excellent wines produced, and for their beauty. The towns, Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, in these verdant valleys are picturesque with with the well preserved Cape Dutch and Victorian architechture, and charming oak-lined streets. Stellenbosch in the second oldest town in South Africa, and is named for Simon van der Stel, the first Cape Governor.
Our tours will introduce you to the history of the region, show you some of the monuments in the area and, most importantly, take you to a wine farm where you can sample and purchase a variety of local wines at your leisure.
Our full day tour includes at least two wine tastings, as well as a stop for lunch in Franschhoek. There will also be an opportunity to tour a wine cellar, to see how the wines are produced. We will visit Paarl and Franschhoek, as well as Stellenbosch, and view the Huguenot Memorial in Franschhoek.
At each wine tasting session, you will have the opportunity to taste about five wines, dependant on the wine estate. Wines may be purchased directly from the wine estates, many of which will assist with shipping wine overseas.

Lunch is not included in our rates. You should budget R120 to R250 for lunch, though there are cheaper alternatives should you wish to have light snack only.
